Hey Caleb,

In regards to your questions about publishing a book and using your earnings to feed the poor, Words of Belief is probably a good choice for you.

When you finish writing and then building your book online with their publishing wizard, you will receive a free ISBN, which entitles you to global distribution. More than 25,000 online retailers, including Amazon.com, borders.com and barnesandnoble.com, will offer your book for sale on their sites. Readers will be able to order copies as well, from any of their store locations.

Since WOB is self-publishing, you'll need to market your book by yourself as well. You can always promote in your community and through your church as well, both of which their team encourages. The more you sell, the more you'll earn in royalties, which you can then donate to any particular cause or charity you want.

If you have any additional question, feel free to contact Words of Belief, or you can always submit your query here, and we'll do our best to address your concerns.

Thanks again for the comment and question!

Anne,

You can definitely use Words of Belief to self publish your book. Just a couple of things you should be aware of when publishing. So you'll need to register and upload your manuscript online. You'll still have to go through the publishing wizard, just like everyone.

When it comes to your cover, however, you in particular have two options. You can either create another one within the wizard, or you can submit a high resolution cover via e-mail with the cover spec Words of Belief provides in the FAQs.

Should you submit your own cover, you will need to upgrade with DIY Cover Conversion or Stock Art Cover. DIY Cover Conversion is if only for the designers who can layout their cover with trim and cut lines for the printer. Stock Art Cover, though, will allow you to sumbit a high resolution image which you can tell your personal designer to use for your cover.

Definitely check the resolution of your cover. WOB requires that images to be used for artwork be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch), and sized to the exact dimensions that you want for your book.

I would connect via Live Chat with a Words of Belief support member to discuss your options.

In addition to publishing for free, the benefit of Words of Belief is that you do get an ISBN for your book for free as well. So it's a good choice for many writers. Plus, there's a writing contest at WOB that may interest you as well!

Hope all that information helps, and let us know if you have more questions. We're always willing to help!

Hey Martin,

If you want to publish a book at Words of Belief (or Wordclay), all you need to do is upload your manuscript, design your cover, choose your price and publish - it's that simple.

It doesn't matter if you live in Sweden, Australia or Canada. Anywhere you have Internet access will work fine.

So in answer to your first question, it's definitely possible for you to self-publish your book (or all three in your series) whenever you want. Moreoever, with WOB, you get free global distribution, which means your title will be available for order online at Amazon.com, Borders.com, etc.

As for the books you have to order, you don't have to order any. You can publish with WOB and order none if you want. Or you could order five, or 100 copies, whatever you desire. It's all print on demand, and if authors order their books via Live Chat, they get the author discount, so that's something to bear in mind.

Thanks again for your questions, and let us know if we have more queries or concerns. We're always happy to help!
